Spronk Scores 1,000th Point For Dordt Lady Defenders

PrintWith a three-point play early in Dordt’s game with Doane on Saturday, February 16th, Brianna Spronk a senior from Edgerton, Minnesota scored her 1,000th point at Dordt College.

Spronk ended the day with 14 points, moving her career total to 1,011. She also tied the career games played record on Saturday while pushing that total to 120, tying a record held by Amber Soodsma and Bailey Spencer.

Spronk stands number 13 all-time in scoring heading into the quarterfinal round of the GPAC Post-Season Tournament on Wednesday, February 20th. The Defenders will take to the road to face Concordia in Seward, Nebraska at 7:00. Spronk is no. 11 in career rebounds with 620 and has 144 career assists which puts in 21st place all-time.
