Des Moines Iowa — The Iowa State Wrestling Tournament comes to a close with day three Saturday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. In the first session Class 3A, 1A and 2A consolation semi finals and finals were held with third through 8th place decided in all classes. Sheldon South O’Briens Luke Jennes finished third in 2A at 182.
The evening session included the IWOCA, IHSADA and IHSAA awards presentation. After that it was the Grand March and Finals for all classes to close out this years tournament. Kyler Rieck of Spirit Lake Park won the title in Class 2a at 152.
1A titles went to Adam Allard of West Sioux at 120, Kory Van Oort of West Sioux at 152 and John Henrich of Akron Westfield at 160. Tristan Mulder of Western Christian was 2nd at 170. At 195 Logan Koedam of West Sioux finished third.

106 Jader Briggs of Akron-Westfield – wrestled for 7th and dropped an 11-1 decision to finish 8th
113 Cullen Koedam of West Sioux, Hawarden – Lost 7-3 in consolation semis then lost by Tec Fall and finished 6th
126 Trey Schuck of Sibley-Ocheyedan – Lost 9-6 in consolation semis and won by fall in 3:20 to finish 5th
132 Dillon Lynott of West Sioux, Hawarden – Forfited the 7th place match and finished 8th
195 Logan Koedam of West Sioux, Hawarden – Won in the consolation semis 10-0, then won 7-1 to finish 3rd
