106 Treyton Virtue of Central Lyon George Little Rock was pinned in the first round then pinned his opponent in the next round in 1:17
113 Jose Montes of West Sioux dropped a 12-6 decision in the first round and followed that with a pin in 2:54
126 Colby McIntire of Central Lyon George Little Rock lost by tech fall in the first round and followed that with an 8-4 decision
182 Dylan Brockshus of Sibley Ocheyedan won his opener 16-4 to advance to the quarterfinal round of the championship bracket.
The championship quarterfinals and second round of consolations in 1A will be part of the morning session Friday beginning at 9am.
Here’s how area individuals fared in Class 2A
106 Samuel Klarenbeek of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley lost 6-4 and dropped an 8-1 decision and is out of the competition
113 Matt Henning of W Christian/U Christian lost by fall and lost a 4-1 decision to fall out of the tournament
152 Hunter Berkenpas of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley won 9-8 and is in the championship quarterfinals
Dylon Van`t Hof of Sioux Center lost 13-5 followed by a 10-4 and is out
160 Jacob Van Ginkel of W Christian/U Christian won 8-5 to advance to the championship quarterfinals
170 Toby Maggert of Sheldon/South O`Brien lost by tech fall but followed that with a pin in 3:38 to move to the second round of the consolations
182 Dallas Rozeboom of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley won by fall in: 50 seconds to advance to the championship quarterfinals
220 Bryce Kelleher of Sheldon/South O`Brien won by fall in 3:25 to advance to the quarterfinals
Tyler Dolieslager of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley won a 7-6 to advance to the quarterfinals
The Class 2A quarterfinals and second round of the consolations will be part of the afternoon session beginning at 3:30 Friday and run through 6:45pm.
