1A wrestler in championship bracket
182 Dylan Brockshus of Sibley Ocheyedan was pinned and moved into the consolation bracket and then dropped a 5-1 decision and was knocked out of the competition.
1A wrestlers in consolations
106 Treyton Virtue of Central Lyon George Little Rock lost by tech fall and he is out of the tournament
113 Jose Montes of West Sioux lost by fall and was eliminated
126 Colby McIntire of Central Lyon George Little Rock won by fall in 1:54 to advance to the third round of consolations in the afternoon session. In the afternoon session he won by fall in 4:29 to advance to the consolation semifinals.
The afternoon session included the Class 1A semifinals and the third round of consolations. In Class 2A it was the championship quarterfinals and the second round of consolations.
2A wrestlers in championship bracket Quarterfinals
152 Hunter Berkenpas of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley lost a 3-1 decision and dropped into the consolations where he lost a 9-1 decision and was eliminated.
160 Jacob Van Ginkel of W Christian/U Christian won by fall in 5:54 and in the semis of the 9:35 pm evening session he lost by tech fall and will be in the consolation semis Saturday morning with a shot at third place.
182 Dallas Rozeboom of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley lost a 3-0 decision to move into the consolations where he was pinned and knocked out of the tournament.
220 Bryce Kelleher of Sheldon/South O`Brien won by fall in 3:57 and wrestled in the lower bracket semi in the 9:45pm evening session where he dropped an 8-5 decision. Kelleher is in the consolation semis Saturday with a chance at third place.
Tyler Dolieslager of Boy-Hull/Rock Valley won a 7-2 decision and wrestled in the upper bracket semi in the 9:45pm evening session where he won by fall in 5:19. Dolieslager will wrestle for the 220 pound 2A State Title Saturday night.
2A wrestlers in consolations
170 Toby Maggert of Sheldon/South O`Brien lost an 8-3 decision and was eliminated.
