Des Moines — Day one of the Iowa State Individual wrestling tournament opened with the first round of Class 1A wrestling followed by the first round of consolations. The opening session runs from 9:00 till noon. Class 2A wrestlers from the area will compete in the first round followed by the first round of consolations in the evening session from 6:00 till 9:00.
