Coach Derek Keizer had these comments: ” Really proud of our guys tonight.  Having a shot to win it at the buzzer on the #1 team in South Dakota, on their home floor is everything we could’ve asked for.

We’re disappointed that we didn’t win, but our guys showed a lot of heart.  There were multiple times where we could’ve caved and we didn’t.  Instead we responded and made plays of our own.

I was pleased with our effort on the defensive end.  We held Hohn & Friedel to a combined 28 points.  Those guys are really good and I thought we had a great collective effort.”
Justin Hohn a 6-1 guard has signed with UC Irvine while Noah Freidel a 6-4 guard has signed with Wright State University. Both are Division 1 programs.

With the win Tea Area, the top ranked team in South Dakota’s Class 1A, moves to 16-1 on the season. The Wolfpack close out the regular season at 12-7.
