It has been a long road for Andrew Van Ginkel as he prepares for his senior season at Wisconsin. The former Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley standout began his career at South Dakota before transferring to Iowa Western Community College.
Last season he had 39 tackles and six and a half sacks as an outside linebacker as the Badgers won the Big Ten West.
Van Ginkel hopes the Badgers can take the next step this season and get into the College Football Playoff
The Badgers open the season at home on August 31st against Western Kentucky.
