Van Roekel To Play Golf At NWC

Keaton Van Roekel, of Hull, has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.

Van Roekel is in his fourth season playing for Boyden-Hull High School. A two-time all-conference selection, Van Roekel helped lead his team to a fifth place finish at the state tournament as a junior. He has personal bests of 38 on nine holes and 78 on 18. Van Roekel plans to major in business management at Northwestern and is the son of Les and Gwen.

“We are very excited to add Keaton to the Red Raider golf team,” commented Northwestern head coach Aaron Aberson. “He is a hard worker who really enjoys the game of golf, and I expect him to add some good depth to our line-up. I’m looking forward to seeing him grow, both on and off the course, over the next four years.”
