Village Northwest Unlimited Panthers Announce 2016-2017 Basketball Scrimmage Schedule

Sheldon, Iowa – Village Northwest Unlimited Panthers are excited to announce their basketball scrimmage schedule for the 2016-2017 season. Area residents are encouraged to come out in support of the Panthers and enjoy a game.

The Panthers will scrimmage at area basketball games including Sheldon High School, Dordt College in Sioux Center, Morningside College in Sioux City, and Northwestern College in Orange City. The schedule for this year is as follows:

Wednesday, November 16, 2016
At Dordt College (Half times of the Women’s game – 6:00 pm and Men’s game – 8:00 pm)

Friday, December 2, 2016
At Sheldon High School (Half time of the Boys Varsity game – 7:45 pm)

Saturday, December 10, 2016
Home @ VNU, Sheldon vs. Sioux City Knights at 9:00

Wednesday, January 11, 2017
At Morningside College vs. Sioux City Knights (Half times of the Women’s game – 6:00 pm and Men’s game – 8:00 pm)

Friday, January 27, 2017
At Sheldon High School (Half time of the Girls game – 6:15 pm)

Saturday, January 28, 2017
Away vs. Sioux City Knights at 9:00 am at North Middle School (2101 Outer Drive, Sioux City)

Saturday, February 4, 2017
West Region Basketball Tournament (State Qualifying Tournament) at West Harrison High School

Wednesday, February 8, 2017
At Northwestern College (Half times of the Women’s game – 6:00 pm and Men’s game – 8:00 pm)

If the Village Panthers qualify, the State Basketball Tournament is March 11-12, 2017 in Iowa City, Iowa. The individual Basketball Skills state competition will also be held in conjunction with the state tournament.
