Visser Added To Dordt Baseball

Brandon Visser, a senior at Unity Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Visser has played first base, pitcher and shortstop during his career. He missed the 2017 season with injury after batting .284 as a sophomore in the 2016 season with three doubles, a triple, a homerun and 20 runs batted in with 22 runs scored and 27 total hits. He also pitched 22 innings and had 20 strikeouts in eight pitching appearances while earning War Eagle Conference honorable mention. A regular since his freshman season, Visser batted .250 in 2015 with 11 runs batted in and 16 runs scored.

A multi-sport athlete, Visser was a second-team all-district football selection on defense as a junior and also played basketball at Unity.

Brandon is the son of Mick and Sherry Visser of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Business Administration at Dordt College.
