Drew Vreugdenhil, a senior at Unity Christian High School, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the hockey program.
Vreugdenhil most recently played for the Sioux Center Storm and is a 5-11, 190 pound defenseman.
“Drew has a solid stay at home style and likes to play with grit in the corners and in front of the net. He has a strong work ethic both on and off the ice. We’re excited to add Drew to the Blades,” said Dordt College coach Nate van Niejenhuis.
Drew is the son of Mike and Karen Vreugdenhil of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Construction Management at Dordt College.
