Coach Keizer said he was pleased with the effort they put forth, especially on the defensive end. He thought Tate Winterfeld’s basket going into halftime gave them great momentum leading into the second half as they held Spencer to 5 points in the 3rd quarter which allowed them to comeback from their halftime deficit. The way the rebounded the ball in the second half was nice to see out of the guys. Western had the rebounding edge tonight 32-20 which all comes down to effort.
