Willemsen Signs With Northwestern Track and Field

Orange City, Iowa — Kaden Willemssen, of Rock Valley,  has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College this fall.

Willemssen recently completed a standout four-year career competing for the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley High School track and field team. Willemssen qualified for the state meet three years and earned all-conference honors in the high hurdles. He has personal bests of 15.3 in the 110m hurdles and graduated with honors. Willemssen plans to major in sports medicine or business at Northwestern and is the son of Dalton and Heather.

“We are excited to have Kaden join our men’s track and field team,” commented Northwestern head coach Scott Bahrke. “Kaden is a talented hurdler who experienced a great deal of success in high school. He is a hard worker and will thrive under the direction of Coach Vander Ploeg over the next four years.”
