The City of Sheldon’s Water Dept. will be flushing water mains this week Thursday Sept. 20, 2018 from 11:00 pm. – 6:00 am. Friday Sept.21, 2018. There may be some discoloration in the water during and after the flushing process. Try and limit the use of water during that time and use caution if washing whites or dedicates. This discoloration should only be temporary. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
After this morning’s thunderstorms move through, scattered thunderstorms will continue to be possible, mainly north of I-90 during the day. This evening and overnight, storms will become more numerous, with heavy rain and flash flooding possible. Storms continue through the first half of Thursday, but by the evening cooler dry air will be moving through the region, making for a dry Friday & Saturday.
