Chad Beckman bagged this Big Horn Ram after a 14 hour hunt that included an 8.44 mile hike to an elevation of 9,400 feet. He says they found the sheep they had spotted 7 hours earlier. After a 20-minute wait for the ram to present itself, a shot at 50-years, and one 3-1/2 foot pine tree to stop him from falling back to the bottom of the drainage he had finally gotten a bighorn sheep out of the Beartooth Mountains.
