A Day We’ll Never Forget

Date posted - December 19, 2013

On Wednesday Dec 18th At 6:30 in the morning a man came in to order a sausage egg and cheese griddle meal, with a coffee… the total was just $4.91. As he paid with a $100.00 bill he informed our employee that he would be leaving the change here at our store to buy breakfast for the customers to follow! He paid for 24 peoples meals that morning, and the $.07 that was left went into the Ronald McDonald House donation box! Included in the 24 was a young man who’s semi had just had an engine fire, and stopped in here while waiting for someone, he decided that because of the gift he would donate $5.00 to the Ronald McDonalds House. Right after him we had another customer donate $5. This amazing man fed everyone who came into our lobby from 6:30-8:10! What a blessing to be able to see such kindness, and giving. A day we’ll never forget!!

From all of us at the Sheldon McDonalds, the staff and families of the Ronald McDonald House and the 24 customers that were lucky enough to share in this we thank you and Merry Christmas!!!!!
