Rock Valley and Rock Rapids Flood Help

Date posted - June 17, 2014

I’m so proud to be a part of a community that helps others when needed. Most of the staff of Cain Ellsworth & Co. is heading to Rock Valley to fill sandbags or help where needed. I’d love to hear other stories like this.

Kudos to Cain Ellsworth and everyone else who leaves their comfy daily schedule to help other communities.

makes a person feel good about OUR communities now doesn’t it? Now this is the kind of postings we need more of. More positive things and ways that people are helping one another. Amazing that it takes a disaster to bring everyone together after all the negative and disheartening things we say to each other under other circumstances. :-)

I used some of that bottled water in Rock Rapids while my son was a lone patient for a few days. Thank you for the bottled water!

Rock Rapids is asking for volunteers starting today. Anyone who can help needs to go to the City Office first and they will tell you where you are needed. The Fair Board is asking for help on Friday night at 6 p.m. to start cleaning up the Fairgrounds.
