World War 2 and Obamacare

Date posted - November 12, 2013

“Putting things in perspective: March 21st 2010 to October 1 2013 is 3 years, 6 months, 10 days. December 7, 1941 to May 8, 1945 is 3 years, 5 months, 1 day. What this means is that in the time we were attacked at Pearl Harbor to the day Germany surrendered is not enough time for this progressive federal government to build a working webpage.

Mobilization of millions, building tens of thousands of tanks, planes, jeeps, subs, cruisers, destroyers, torpedoes, millions upon millions of guns, bombs, ammo, etc. Turning the tide in North Africa, Invading Italy, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Race to Berlin – all while we were also fighting the Japanese in the Pacific!! And in that amount of time – this administration can’t build a working webpage.”

    Well said!

WWII the government had reason to win. Obamacare website the govt had reason to lose. It is supposed to fail so they can blame insurance providers. Gets us closer to full govt controlled coverage.

President Obama said to a union that he knows we feel the same way as he does about wanting a single-pair system and he continues with saying we “aren’t there yet”. The single-pair system is socialistic health care. That is what we don’t want! That is where he wants this mess to end up.

    • Sam says:

I had guests staying with me telling me they like Canada’s healthcare. It is exactly what President Obama wants for the US. Canada has the single-pair system. Please look into it. In 2011, over 46,000 Canadians came to the US for healthcare. The average wait for a procedure in Canada was 19 weeks in 2011. Please look into it. This is what we would be in for. When I showed my guests the numbers; and you will find them in many places on the internet; they were shocked and had never heard that on their NBC, CBS and all the others in bed with President Obama. Obama says we want a single-pair system. Then what country are we going to go to for our healthcare?

You realize that this makes no sense correct? Since Obama wasn’t in office during WW 2 and the means to create a website were not present until after the 70’s. How would any of this be conceivable? Your not a smart person, I feel bad for you. Also, thanks to WW 2 we have a generation “baby boomers” who are entitled, privileged class of people who ruined the rest of the world for those of us today. Thanks to you guys, corporations are considered people and have the right to vote. Thanks to you idiots, you destroyed the environment and left us with a wrecked planet. Thankfully you will be dying off soon because we have alot of rebuilding to do. You can complain and say well in my day I worked hard for where I am at, thats fair, and we work hard too, But remember thanks to you inflation has made it near impossible to only have one job. So Thanks idiot baby boomers. Just because a website doesn’t work right means you should compare it to a time in history that you had it “better”

Read it again Timmy. He was discussing the length of time. He wasn’t saying a web page could be made during WW2. He was only pointing out everything we as a country were able to deal with and achieve during a specified time period (ie. a specific number of months). During that same LENGTH OF TIME (ie. a specific number of months) this administration couldn’t get a website working. Also, corporations CANNOT legally vote. Look it up. Furthermore, baby boomers have never been considered to be a group of people who are entitled. They, throughout history, have been considered to be hard working. It is my generation (40 year olds) and the next generation that is widely considered entitled. And where does he say they had it “better”? That was never stated or implied in that post. Also, inflation over the past 30 years has been a lower percentage than most 30 year periods and can hardly be economically attributed to the baby boomers. NOTHING in your post is logical or backed by statistics, nor does it pertain to the original post. And you state the original poster is “not a smart person”? Seriously?
