Iowa Cattle Industry Leadership Summit to be held Dec 15th & 16th

IARN — As the combines and tractors grow silent, meeting season is upon us. It is a time for producers to get together, talk about the year that was, make plans for another year, and talk about the issues that are important to their operation. That is what will be happening when the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association hosts the Iowa Cattle Leadership Summit in Altoona.

The Summit will be held on December 15th and 16th at Prairie Meadows Conference Center. Iowa Cattlemen’s Association Communications Director Anna Hastert tells Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network that there will be some great educational sessions and speakers at this event. The keynote address will be made by Lt. Col. Peter Shinn, USAF, Ret.

Besides the breakout sessions, there will also be a trade show and the Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening. The summit wraps up on Thursday with annual meetings for both the Cattlemen and the Beef Industry Council.
