IARN — Iowa’s corn and soybean harvest continues to progress at a rapid pace.
The weekly Crop Progress and Conditions Report on Monday showed Iowa’s corn harvest at 19% completion as of Sunday, eight days ahead of the five-year average. The soybean harvest is 40% done, 10 days ahead of the five-year average.
USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey says the faster than average corn harvest pace is similar across the rest of the country.
