Primghar Producer Elected by Customer-Owners to Farm Credit Services of America Board of Directors

Omaha, Nebraska — Jon Van Beek, a farmer in Primghar, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica), which is a financial cooperative.

Van Beek was re-elected to a four-year term that began April 1, 2020 and runs through March 31, 2024. Van Beek has served on the FCSAmerica Board since 2009.

FCSAmerica is governed by a board that reflects the diverse agricultural backgrounds and interests of its customer-owners. The board is comprised of 12 elected customer-owners and three appointed Directors.

Van Beek has a family farm operation raising corn and Pioneer seed beans and is a partner in D-Nine, Inc., custom feeding hogs for Wakefield Pork and Lynch livestock. He also is an elder at Zion Lutheran Church.
