IARN — We have talked about Soybean Cyst Nematodes at length for many years now, and we are still dealing with a pest that is robbing yields and becoming more tolerant to the weapons we must use to fight them. The SCN Coalition has been working hard to keep producers in the know when it comes to what the forecasts are for nematodes every year, what indicators we saw last fall, and how to get ahead of these pesky critters.
However, as nematodes become more tolerant, it becomes more important for producers to heed the call that has been made over the past few years; use multiple modes of action to attack. Valent has partnered with SCN Coalition to launch the SCN Root Check initiative. This is intended to help draw even more awareness to the importance of treatment and scouting.
