DESCRIPTION:Archer United Methodist Church invites you to attend the 69th Lord’s Acre Day celebration. The theme this year is “Now Thank We All Our God.”\nDate: Saturday\, Nov. 6\, 2021 \n10 AM – Worship – Pastor Jacob Sandholm \n11 AM – 1 PM – Lunch\nCreamed chicken sandwiches\, taverns\, baked beans\, beverages\, and a wide assortment of pies. Free will donations are given to missions. \n11 AM – 1 PM – Bazaar\, Silent Auction\, Kids’ Fish Pond\nA variety of activities are available from 11 AM to 1 PM. The UMW (United Methodist Women) host a bazaar with homemade crafts and food. Wesleyan Fellowship hosts a silent auction that ends at 1 PM sharp and the kids enjoy a fishing pond with a wide variety of prizes! \n1 PM – Parade\nTypical entries are the color guard\, antique vehicles\, and community service vehicles. Kids enjoy collecting the candy that is tossed to them! \nFollowing Parade – Auction\nThe day concludes with an action-packed auction! Rich Vander Werff runs a fun auction with donated items that often command ridiculously high bids. All proceeds go to the church and help fund the various causes and missions of the church. \nLord’s Acre Day is a time of fun and fellowship. It is a time to give thanks to God for our harvest and our multitude of blessings. All are invited to  join in the fun! Lord’s Acre Day was developed as a day for farmers to donate an acre’s worth of grain to the church.
