DESCRIPTION:The Sheldon Ministerial Association is again organizing Coats-For-Kids. \nPeople may drop off new\, or gently used coats for children & teens from October 17th to November 10th at Top Notch Stitching in Sheldon. Coats will then be taken to Campus Cleaners for dry cleaning. Distribution will be from 9:00 until 10:30 on Saturday morning\, November 19th in the lower level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.

DESCRIPTION:The award winning\, 2020 film Free Burma Rangers will be shown on Sunday night\, October 30\, at the Hospers PCA Church (200 Elm Street)\, starting at 6:00 p.m. \nThe 97-minute documentary explores the extraordinary 20-year journey of missionaries Dave and Karen Eubank. The film follows Dave\, Karen\, and their three young children\, as they venture into war zones where they are fighting to bring hope. Dave Eubank is a rare hero of the faith. He is a “former-U.S.-Special-Forces-soldier-turned-missionary-to-conflict-zones.” The film is a real life adventure movie. Viewers will follow the family into firefights and heroic rescues\, and will experience life-changing ministry. In the midst of this unprecedented journey\, you will witness amazing lessons of faith from one of the most inspiring families in the world. The Free Burma Rangers was founded over 20 years ago by Eubank\, in response to conflict in Burma\, and they now offer help\, hope\, and love to internally displaced people around the world. \nAll are welcome\, free admission\, and refreshments will be served. \n(VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED: Includes intense\, graphic sequences of war violence.
