(A GREAT project for a business or GROUP to adopt!!);\n• Trash pick-up on the entrance / exit ramps of Hwy. 60;\n• Adopt a section of the Sheldon Rec. Trails for clean-up.\n• Trash pick-up at Thorman Park.\n• Planting flowers in the planters at Thorman Park.\n• Trash pick-up along the railroad tracks around Hills Park. \nThe Sheldon Marketing Committee will gladly supply refreshments for all volunteers at the end of the clean-up event! We are VERY pleased to again have Sheldon Middle School students joining in the clean-up efforts and we thank them for their enthusiasm and willingness to participate! \nTo make this event a success and really make a “clean sweep” of Sheldon – WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please plan to participate in Community Clean-Up Day on FRIDAY\, May 19 from 1pm-3pm. If you\, your business\, or your club/organization would be willing to adopt a specific project\, please contact Brandi Fuerstenberg at the SCDC office at 324-2813 or bfuerstenberg@cityofsheldon.com as soon as possible!
