DESCRIPTION:The Bible League International will host their annual conference at a new location\, the Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center on Tuesday\, September 12\, from 9:30-3:00. The conference theme will be “Growing Inward – Reaching Outward”\, and will feature Carol Kent\, a well-known speaker and author. She will share from God’s Word and her family’s life experiences to encourage us to grow an enduring faith. Rich worship will be led throughout the day by worship leader\, Jennifer Frens\, and a group of musicians. Along with Carol Kent\, Jos Snoep\, president of BLI\, will bring greetings and updates from the national headquarters. Men and women are encouraged to attend. \nThe cost of the conference is $50 with lunch included\, or $35 without lunch.\nRegister online at bibleleague.org/tickets. The deadline for registration is September 5.

This nationally known foursome\, with vocals\, guitars\, bass\, and drums will be performing such hits as “I Walk the Line\,” Ring of Fire\,” and “Folsom Prison Blues” as well as many more favorites. This concert is being presented by the Sheldon Civic Music Association\, where season memberships for four concerts are still available at $50 or $25 at the door.
