SUMMARY:Bookmarks Challenge at the Sheldon Public Library
DESCRIPTION:The Sheldon Public Library will begin its Bookmarks Challenge on Wednesday\, April 1st at 3:45 p.m. for students in grades K-12. \nParticipants may design a bookmark using themes of books\, reading\, “Plant a Seed\, Read\,” or favorite book characters. Bookmarks must be 7″ x 2.5″\, created on printer paper\, and submitted to the library by 5:30 p.m. on April 24th with the student’s name\, grade\, and phone number on the back. \nThe winners\, one from each grade group (K-4\, 5-8\, 9-12)\, will be selected on April 29th by Library Director Alyssa Kienholz. An article will be written in the newspaper announcing those three winners as well as providing pictures of their bookmarks. \nPlease pick up an instruction sheet with the bookmark template at the front desk of the library explaining the rules for the bookmark challenge. You can make the bookmark at home.
