SUMMARY:Sheldon Community Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:The Sheldon Marketing Committee invites all Sheldon residents\, service groups\, clubs\, organizations\, and businesses to take part in Sheldon’s 21st Annual Community Clean Up Day on Friday\, May 8th from 1 to 3 p.m.\, beginning at Hills Park. \nSheldon Middle School\, St. Patrick’s School\, and Sheldon Christian students will again join the effort\, and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers at the end of the event. \nGroups\, businesses\, and individuals are encouraged to “Adopt‑a‑Project” to help spruce up parks\, trails\, public spaces\, and key areas throughout the community. A full list of available projects is available here. To adopt a project or ask questions\, contact Trista Kavanaugh at 712‑324‑2813 or tkavanagh@cityofsheldon.com. \nIf weather becomes an issue\, updates will be posted on the SCDC Facebook page and on our website at kiwaradio.com. The rain date is Friday\, May 15th.
