Tickets are $10\, available at the door. \nSaturday\, August 31st \n1:30 p.m. – Mini Rod Tractor Pulls\, at the Sheldon Horse Arena (1 mile North of Casey’s on Washington Ave) FREE Bring your lawn chairs! \n7:30 p.m. – Sheldon Community Theater Presents “Murder on the Orient Express” at the High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10\, available at the door. \nSunday\, September 1st  \n1:00 p.m. – Cornhole For A Cure\, ages 21+ Crossroads Pavilion Event Center – Registration from 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Double elimination team tournament. All money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. \n2:00 p.m. – Sheldon Community Theater Presents “Murder on the Orient Express” at the High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10\, available at the door. \n6:00 p.m. – Community Worship Service & Ice Cream Social\, At the City Park (in case of inclement weather the event will be at the First Reformed Church on Washington Ave). \n7:00 – 10:00 p.m. – Classic Car Cruise\, Taking place at Cook’s Café/Langer’s Bar & Grill \nMonday\, September 2nd \n6:30 – 11:00 a.m. – Fly-In Pancake Breakfast & Aircraft Display\, Taking place at Sheldon Regional Airport. \n9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Union Depot Open House & Guest Artisan Demonstrations\, taking place at the historical Sheldon Depot. Enjoy free popcorn and lemonade. Kids can create their own marbled paper painting! \n9:00 a.m. – Noon & after the parade – 6:00 pm. – Sheldon Prairie Museum\, Located downtown at 4th Ave & 10th St. Tour the 1908 Carnegie Library display. \n9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Farmer’s Market\, Taking place in the City Park \n 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Arts & Crafts in the Park\, Crafts & vendors in the City Park \n9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Sheldon Iowa Rocks\, Kids can create their very own painted rock. \n9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Classic Car Show\, Sheldon High School parking lot. Registration from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. \n10:00 a.m. – Veterans Opening Ceremony\, At the City Park Armed Services Memorial. \n10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Laser Tag\, Inflatables\, Mini Ferris Wheel\, Mini Train\, West End of the City Park\, Wristband ONLY for $10 each \nALL DAY – Food booths will be open in the City Park. \n12:00 – 1:00 p.m. – Cow Patty Bingo\, In the outfield of the East Ball Diamond at the City Park. Purchase a square for $10. DESCRIPTION:In observance of Labor Day\, flags will be displayed at the Sheldon City Park. They are going to be put out on Monday\, September 2nd\, weather permitting. Volunteers are needed to help put the flags out at 7:00 a.m. and taken back down at 5:30 p.m; 30+ volunteers are needed. If you are able to help\, please meet at the City Park. \nYour help is greatly appreciated!
