Juvenile Accused Of Making More Than $12,000 In Unauthorized Charges On A Credit Card

Spencer, Iowa – A juvenile male from Lakefield Minnesota has been charged with credit card fraud in a case out of Clay County.

According to a press release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the 17-year-old male is accused of gaining access to the victim’s credit card, making 65 fraudulent charges totaling more than $12,000.

The release says the juvenile turned himself into the Clay County Sheriff’s Office back on January 29th.

Credit card fraud is a class “D” felony. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.
