Sheldon, Iowa — A Matlock teen has been arrested on felony second degree theft charges after the Sheldon Police Department says she wrote checks on a closed account.
The Sheldon Police Department reports that they arrested 19-year-old Lacey O’Clair of Matlock recently. The police allege that O’Clair has written multiple checks in multiple towns on her closed account. They say the incidents are being investigated by several law enforcement agencies. They report they also picked her up on a third degree theft charge out of Osceola County.
O’Clair was taken into custody and was transported to jail in Primghar, where she was released that same afternoon after posting bail.
