Northwest Iowa — A Paullina woman was injured in an accident on Friday, October 16th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:14 pm on Friday, 20-year-old Samantha Thompson of Paullina was driving a 2013 Chrysler sedan eastbound on Highway 10. Twenty-six-year-old Chelsea Larson of Rock Valley was driving a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on Highway 10 in front of Thompson. According to the report, Larson began to slow for a posted speed limit and a tractor and wagons. Thompson was distracted by her radio and rear ended the Chrysler.
The Chrysler received $4000 damage; the Jeep received $2500 damage.
Thompson was transported by private vehicle to the Orange City Hospital.
