Sheldon, Iowa — Three vehicles were damaged in a collision that happened shortly before 9 pm on Friday, February 6th, in the parking lot of Taco John’s in Sheldon.
Sheldon Police report that a 2001 Mercury Sable, driven by 19-year old Riki Langfit of Sheldon was entering the Taco John’s parking lot when the car’s power steering apparently failed, causing it to strike a parked 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, owned by Roxana Nelson of Archer, which was then pushed into a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer owned by Samantha Culver of Matlock.
Damage to Langfit’s Sable was estimated at $500, with $1200 damage estimated to the Nelson Oldsmobile, and $1500 to Culver’s Mitsubishi.
No injuries were reported.
