Rock Rapids, Iowa – A Rock Rapids man was jailed Friday after a traffic stop near Rock Rapids.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Matthew James Clauson of Rock Rapids was traveling at a high rate of speed at the intersection of 180th Street and Goldfinch Ave. near Rock Rapids.
Following an on-scene investigation, Clauson was found to be operating under the influence. Clauson was taken into custody and transported to the Lyon County Jail.
