George, Iowa — A George man’s vehicle was damaged in an accident near George on Monday, September 7th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:12 pm, 55-year-old Patrick Chancellor of George was driving westbound on A46, 3/4 of a miles east of County Road L14, in a 2004 Buick Regal. According to the report, Chancellor drove on the north shoulder, then over-corrected, drove into the south ditch , and rolled his vehicle multiple times into a bean field.
Minor injuries were reported but medical treatment was refused at the scene.
The vehicle was totaled in the accident and $150 of damage was done to the bean field.
