Debris Hung From Railroad Bridge Damages Vehicles, Sheriff’s Office Seeking Information

Hull, Iowa — Items of debris were hung from a railroad bridge near Hull and damaged two cars on Wednesday, September 30th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that items were found hanging from the BNSF Railway railroad bridge on 320th Street/Highway 18, two and one-half miles west of Hull, IA.

According to the report, it was discovered that someone intentionally hung wood boards, steel items and rocks from the railroad bridge. The debris caused minor damage to two vehicles that drove underneath the bridge and struck the debris.

No injuries were reported.
