Boyden, Iowa — An Ashton man rolled a Freightliner on Friday, November 20th near Boyden.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 4:08 pm, 59-year-old Gary Honkomp of Ashton was driving a 1996 Freightliner straight truck hauling fuel westbound on 310th Street. According to the report, Honkomp lost control of the semi, entered the north ditch, and the truck rolled onto its top.
The Freightliner received $8,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
