Lamb Rustlers Hit Rural Sioux County Farm. Repeatedly.

Sioux Center, Iowa — It may not be the old west, but it appears that rustlers are alive and have hit a Sioux Center farm.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says their deputies are investigating a report of livestock theft that occurred at a farm property, three miles west of Sioux Center.

Deputies say their initial investigation revealed that nine feeder lambs were stolen from that property. Deputies say the lambs have an approximate value of $500, and were apparently taken at various times during the week prior to May 4th.
