Larchwood, Iowa — A Larchwood teen was transported to the hospital following a 2-vehicle crash Saturday in Larchwood.
Lyon County Deputies say 15-year old Jaedon Weber of Larchwood was southbound on Edgerley Street in a 1998 Hyundai, when he allegedly failed to stop and yield to an eastbound 2010 Audi, driven by 31-year old Amanda Smith of Spirit Lake. Weber’s car struck Smith’s left rear door, according to the report.
Weber was reportedly taken to the hospital with what Sheriff’s officials describe as “non-life-threatening” injuries.
Each vehicle received damages estimated at $5,000.
