Hull, IA — A mobile home and light pole were damaged in an accident on Wednesday, June 3rd.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:17 pm, 58-year-old Lowell Bittner of Sioux Falls was driving a 2005 Freightliner, pulling a mobile home, northbound on Highway 75, three miles northwest of Hull. According to the reports, Bittner missed his turn to go westbound on 310th Street, he began backing on Highway 75, and struck a State of Iowa owned light pole. The pole became detached and fell onto Highway 75.
The light pole received $1700 damage. The mobile home received $50 damage.
No injuries were reported.
