OC Woman Faces Felony, Misdemeanor Charges

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City woman faces three felony charges following an incident early Friday.

Orange City Police say a 911 hang up call was received at the Sioux County Communications Center shortly before 3:00 Friday morning from an address in Orange City. Orange City Police were sent to follow-up on that call, and their investigation reportedly led officers to determine that a domestic assault had occurred, according to a release from the Orange City Police Department.

Orange City authorities say 43-year-old Jennifer Lynne Williams of Orange City was arrested on three counts of 3rd or Subsequent Offense Domestic Assault, Class D Felonies; Child Endangerment, an Aggravated Misdemeanor; and Obstruction of Emergency Communications, which is a Simple Misdemeanor.
