Orange City Man Arrested On Pair Of Felony Charges

Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man has been arrested in connection with incidents in Rock Valley and Orange City.

According to court records, Timothy Randall Droog is accused of entering Concrete Construction in Rock Valley and making off with more than $13,000 worth of tools from the business, then offering them for sale on Facebook Messenger. Rock Valley Police were assisted in the investigation by officers of the Orange City Police Department. Court records indicate Droog was charged with 1st Degree Theft in the Rock Valley case, which is a Class C Felony.

He is also charged with 3rd Degree Burglary, which is a Class D Felony, in connection with an incident in Orange City. According to court records, Droog is accused of forcing entry into an Orange City garage, and stealing a Milwaukee Job Site Radio, which he allegedly concealed in his grandmother’s garage.

Online court records indicate that Droog is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 18th.
