Sanborn, Iowa — A Sanborn man faces a felony domestic abuse charge after an incident in the early hours of Friday, April 2nd.
According to court records, 41-year-old Martin Antonio Eady of Sanborn is accused of pushing the victim into a wall and onto a bed, trying to obtain some keys. The victim claims she was pinned down and received a red mark on her neck during the incident.
Court records say Eady had been convicted on two previous occasions on domestic abuse charges, once in 2019 and once in 2020, elevating the charge from a misdemeanor to a class D felony.
Jail records tell us Eady was released later that evening.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 12th.
