Sanborn, Iowa — A Sanborn man was injured after his vehicle rolled south of Sanborn on Friday, March 10th.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that just after 7:00 am on Friday, 23-year-old Caleb Bakker of Sanborn was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty northbound on Redwood Avenue, south of Sanborn. According to the report, Bakker claimed a deer crossed over the road and then lost control. The Jeep then entered the west ditch where it rolled and stuck an electrical pole belonging to Northwest REC.
The Jeep received $4,000 damage; the electrical box received $600 damage.
Bakker received minor injuries but declined further medical treatment.
