Sutherland Man Charged With Burglary

Sutherland, Iowa — A Sutherland man faces burglary and theft charges in connection with an incident that took place January 14th.

According to court records, 38-year-old Aaron Michael Lund is accused of unlawfully entering a rural Sutherland residence and making off with a bottle containing $249.59 worth of change.

Online records indicate that Lund was charged with Theft in the 5th Degree, a Simple Misdemeanor, for allegedly stealing the coins. In addition he was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony, for allegedly entering the dwelling illegally.

Jail records indicate that Lund was booked into the O’Brien County Jail during the wee hours of Thursday morning (February 6th), and released later Thursday morning, after posting bond.
