Primghar, Iowa — A Sheldon woman was taken to the hospital after an accident recently near Primghar.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that 21-year-old Chelsie Meyeraan of Sheldon was driving a 1988 Cadillac westbound on B40, about four miles west of Primghar.
The report says that Meyeraan became distracted adjusting the climate control and crossed over the centerline before the car entered the south ditch. The report says she attempted to drive back onto the roadway and over-corrected causing the car to roll and come to rest on its top partially on the roadway and partially in the north ditch.
The Primghar Ambulance took Meyeraan to Baum Harmon Mercy Hospital.
Meyeraan’s Cadillac sustained over $1800 in damages, which was enough to total the vehicle.
