$37-Million Expansion At Deluxe Feeds In Sheldon Nears Completion

Sheldon, Iowa — Construction is nearing completion and testing should begin shortly at the $37 million expansion of Deluxe Feeds in Sheldon.

Dan Paca, general manager of Deluxe Feeds tells us that Deluxe is owned by Kent Nutrition Group, and the feed that will be produced at the new facility will be Kent Feed. He tells us about the project.

He gives us a progress update.

Paca tells us that not only will this be an expansion of their operations, but it will also be an expanded focus for them. He says until now, they have sold feed directly to livestock producers.

According to Paca, the new plant will mean the addition of several positions.

Deluxe Feeds is located at 1500 RMT Avenue in southwest Sheldon, west of the Rosenboom plant.
