Sheldon, Iowa — When the Sheldon City Council meets Wednesday August 21st they will again hold public hearings on the proposed electric and gas franchise agreements with MidAmerican Energy. Two public hearings have already been held as required by the City Code, but because of the high interest in the matter there will be a third hearing on each of the franchise proposals during Wednesday’s meeting.
As an item of New Business, there will be another public hearing…this will be on the Plat for the Jinkinson 2nd Addition on East 9th Street.
Wednesday afternoon’s meeting will begin at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
