Orange City, Iowa — An arraignment has been scheduled for a 23-year old Orange City woman accused of burglary and theft.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the charges against Stacy Carr stem from the investigation into a residential burglary in Hull. Deputies say Carr is accused of entering a residence on Maple Street in Hull without permission, and stealing a cell phone.
According to authorities, Carr faces charges of 3rd Degree Burglary, a Class D Felony, and 5th Degree Theft, a Simple Misdemeanor, in connection with the incident.
Judge John D. Ackerman has scheduled Carr’s arraignment on the felony charge for Monday, August 21st at 9:30 a.m. Carr has filed a written plea of not guilty to the misdemeanor charge.
