Bloodmobile Coming To Sibley On Wednesday

Sibley, Iowa — The next opportunity for you to help bolster the local blood supply is this Wednesday, July 21st in Sibley.

Lauri Hoffmann, the program coordinator for the Community Blood Bank gives us a few details.

In order to donate blood, Hoffmann says you need to be at least 17 years of age, or 16 with a signed parent consent form found at cbblifeblood.org.

She says they also need to see an I.D. and it would help to bring a list of the countries and cities out of the United States where you have visited. Community Blood Bank officials tell us neither being vaccinated nor being unvaccinated for COVID would keep you from giving blood. Hoffmann tells us they do have a couple more requests.

You can call the Osceola Regional Health Center Laboratory to make an appointment at 712-754-5358. You can donate blood every 56 days. The All-American Blood Drive runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the Osceola Regional Health Center in Sibley.
